Barnes and Noble Book Drive
November 1, 2008 - December 31, 2008
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Texas Plains and The Covenant Foundation is proud to announce our extreme gratitude to the patrons and staff of Barnes and Noble in Lubbock, TX. From November 1, 2008- December 31, 2008 they collected 3,675 books from holiday shoppers and store donations.
The books will be divided between the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Plains, who grants wishes to children between 2 1/2 -18 years old with life-threatening medical conditions, and the Covenant Children’s Hospital to use for children currently in treatment.
