Lilly’s career as an Administrative Assistant with our chapter has an amazing back-story. After leaving the tough streets of Elk City, Oklahoma, she traveled just a hop, skip and a jump to the home of the mighty Bulldogs, Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Eventually, Lilly left the Sooner State to live in a place where everything was claimed to be bigger. The great state of Texas. Upon completing her Bachelors in Business Administration at West Texas A&M University, Lilly has been helping to create magic for the kids in our area. Due to past instances, Lilly is required to wear a shirt around the office that reads: “Disclaimer: Not responsible for my contagious smile.”

“With great power-comes great responsibility.” Uncle Ben from Spiderman was speaking of the Wish process when he coined these words from the now famous 2002 movie. Margaret uses her creativity and spunk to add the magic to the wishes that are granted on the Texas Plains. It takes someone who has a great heart for the mission to be responsible for the power that comes from a wish and she finds ways that are of superhero strength to help fulfull the Wishes. She may not be as mighty as Beetleboy but when she is buzzing around town in her little yellow buggy everyone knows that a mission of in-kind donation she is on! As Program Director for the Texas Plains chapter she is responsible for making sure that each eligible child’s wish is granted and that her superhero volunteers have the tools needed to go forth and share the magic of their wish. When Margaret is not in Wish Character she enjoys spending time with her sons Joel and Miles who inspire her every day to do better than the day before.
