Braeden’s Wish - Meet Dr. Phil

“Let’s do it.”

“I want you to get excited about your life.”

“If you’re gonna talk to me, you’re gonna have to be honest.”

The above quotes are direct quotes from Braden’s hero, Dr. Phil McGraw.

Braden, age 18, wished to meet Dr. Phil. In October, she and her family flew to California to attend a taping of the show.

Their escort picked them up in a limo and drove them to Paramount Studios, where they had the incredible opportunity to attend two different tapings of the Dr. Phil show.

The first show highlighted a makeover by Robin and Cojo following the was centered on Robin (McGraw)’s “50 and Fabulous” search, and a lady was on, who Robin and Cojo made over. So they got to see Cojo too! Then there was another lady who helps children of catastrophic events, and they honored her with the “Heart of a Woman” award, a beautiful diamond heart necklace, and $40,000 to help her mission. They blessed everyone in the audience with a gift bag from “Bliss Spas,” as well as a copy of Robin’s new book, “Inside My Heart.”

Between shows, they were taken backstage to meet Dr. Phil and Robin, and took some pictures with them.

The next show was a tearjerker! One girl, age 27, had not seen or heard from her biological mother in 20 years, and she was full of questions when the Dr. Phil show reunited them. There was another young man, who recently found out that the man who he thought was his father was not his father at all. So he is searching for his real father.

The first show, they sat on the front row of the back section, and then the second show, they got to sit right behind Robin, and Scott, Dr. Phil’s brother-in-law, and right hand man.

They were treated to lunch in the Paramount Studios commissary — the finest cuisine, ever! After lunch, they went back to Dr. Phil’s office, and visited with him briefly again, and they got a couple more pics with him, and Scott. They were so impressed with everyone on the Dr. Phil team.
