The dishwasher wish

It is always important that a wish child receives the wish he/she desires. Of course, we have a budget to stick with and certain criteria to follow, but few wishes are impossible to grant. Such was the case with a very special, recent wish child and his wish to have a dishwasher.
Obviously, Linh did not wish for a dishwasher for himself. You see, Linh knew how gravely ill he was, and he was concerned that his mother would soon have no help with the dishes. As selfless as Linh was with his wish, it was the wish of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Plains for Linh to have something for himself, as well, so his second wish of a shopping spree to Toys R’ Us was also arranged.
The family rode to and from the shopping spree in style in a limousine, provided by Royal Limo. Lunch was provided at China Star to kick off the exciting afternoon at Toys R’ Us. As toys from the shopping spree were unloaded, so too was a brand new dishwasher, courtesy of Broxson’s Furniture in Sunray and the Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America students at Vega High School. Linh’s wish to have a dishwasher for his mother was granted.
Only three days after that exciting day in March, Linh passed away but not before touching many hearts and lives of those who helped make his wish of a dishwasher for his mother come true.
